Dea Jacobson

Dea has taught classes, workshops and private sessions in Western Colorado since 1995.  She is a registered member of the Yoga Alliance at the  E-RYT 500 level and has been a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) since 1999.  She was published in the IAYT Journal on the subject of insurance reimbursement for yoga and was featured in the Fibromyalgia Health Letter.  She holds a Level 1 Certification in BioSomatics and was certified in 2011 as an N’Balance trainer by the Consortium for Older Adult Wellness (COAW).
Her teaching has been influenced by Iyengar teachers Elise Miller and Judith Lasater and by the intuitive work of Angela Farmer and Donna Farhi. She has been studying and practicing yoga for over 30 years.
